CPP Expo will again join Pack Expo and Process Expo when the converting and package printing show comes to Las Vegas, Nev., Oct. 5-7, 2009. More than 20,000 packaging professionals are expected to attend the co-located events, a unique arrangement that allows attendees to take in the packaging industry’s broad landscape while wearing just one show badge.
This year, CPP Expo will be located on the main floor of the Las Vegas Convention Center’s South Hall, near Pack Expo’s “Showcase in Packaging” and Containers and Materials section. With CPP Expo, attendees will see evolving technologies in all stages of converting, from digital pre-press and workflow solutions, through finishing processes, including laminating, coating, slitting and rewinding.
Attendees to CPP Expo can also take advantage of several sessions being held as part of Pack Expo and Process Expo. At Pack Expo, numerous programs will touch on the year’s “Maximizing Performance, Sustainability and Economics” theme. Session topics will address several specific trends, including Branding, Converting, Digital Package Printing, Economics, Intelligent Coding, Legal Landscape, Materials, Processing, Sustainability, Sustainable Operations and Vision Systems.
Process Expo will focus on the latest developments in processing technology. Exhibitors will demonstrate equipment, products and service solutions for myriad markets, including the bakery, beverage, confectionery, dairy, fruit and vegetable, ingredients and flavors, meat, pharmaceutical, prepared and snack food industries.
