Dow Chemical and Nordmeccanica N.A. will team up at an Earth Day 2010 celebration on April 28 at Nordmeccanica’s Edgewood, N.Y., plant to demonstrate the latest efforts in laminated flexible packaging solutions for food and consumer products.
A live morning demonstration run scheduled for 10:00 a.m. will emphasize coating and laminating's role in sustainable packaging. Later, an afternoon demonstration scheduled for 2:00 p.m. will focus on the production of high barrier solutions. Representatives from Dow Chemical, Nordmeccanica and other suppliers will be on hand to explain the latest sustainable materials and their suitability for various sustainable packaging applications.
