Massachusetts-based CDF Corp., a manufacturer of liners for drums, pails, intermediate bulk containers and flexible packaging, has purchased a 109,000 square-foot facility in Plymouth. The new building will feature office and manufacturing space, as well as the company’s research, development, administrative and engineering teams.

“The purchase of this additional building will allow CDF to invest in the future of our existing product lines and to expand into new product areas,” says Joe Sullivan Jr., president.

One expansion area includes the launch of Cheer Pack North America LLC, which will develop and support spouted packaging technology. CDF partnered with the Guala Group and Hosokawa Yoko Co. LTD to launch the new consumer packaged goods company and are on track to ship more than one billion premade spouted pouches per year worldwide.
