MiraFoil coatings, a fully recyclable, UV-curable alternative to foil board laminating and hot foil stamping, maintains a look equally brilliant to foil and can be applied to precise areas, reducing waste and saving time and energy through process efficiencies. Developed for labels and other packaging applications, these coatings eliminate off-line lamination or foil stamping, remove the need for warehousing and lead-time required with laminated foil stocks, and deliver the detail and brilliance of foil stamping without the wasted time and material. Successful in applications using offset, flexo, or screen printing, MiraFoil coatings protect designs from in-use failures such as rub-off, cracking, peeling, warp, and poor ink adhesion.
