Thomas Telser, president of Flint Group Flexographic Products, has been announced chairman of the company's newly formed Packaging Segment, effective July 1, 2010. In his new role, Telser will give strategic guidance to Flint Group's Flexographic Products and Global Packaging & Narrow Web divisions. Telser started his career with BASF in 1986, and over the last 11 years, he managed the division through the merger of BASF Printing Systems, ANI and Flint Ink.

With the new organizational structure, Mario Busshoff will assume the role of vice president and general manager for the Flexographic Products group and will also assume operational responsibility for the Flint Group Flexographic Products division. Mario Busshoff, who previously served as Flint Group's vice president of Marketing and Sales, joined the company through the Day International acquisition in 2007. n
