Wentus Kunststoff GmbH, recognized internationally as a specialist in flexible packaging, will install a flexo printing press from Comexi Group at its plant in Höxter, Germany. The ten-color FI 2510 CNC GL machine was selected for its high-speed production and from excellent test results. 

Wentus intends to use the press to print jobs with long runs and at high speed to increase production capacity. The company was also looking for quick changeovers. The FI 2510 features a maximum production speed of 1,969 feet/min and offers a maximum print length of 33 inches.

Founded in 1965, Wentus has since 1996 been part of Clondalkin Group, an international packaging organization active throughout Europe and North America with more than 40 locations in 10 countries. The Group already operates one Comexi flexo printing press. The Group’s businesses produce and supply specialist flexible packaging laminate materials in multiple applications supplying markets including food and beverage, pharmaceutical and healthcare, fast-moving consumer goods, and others.
