All-air CD Series web guides are custom engineered to meet the web handling demands of wider webs and higher web tensions. Featuring heavy-duty welded steel construction, the model uses a robust pivoting web guide assembly with dual cam-follower bearing assemblies to ensure smooth, dependable steering action. High-performance, 3- to 6-inch diameter aluminum idlers handle web widths from 30 to 130 inches. Additional idlers can also be specified. CD Series edge detectors and controls use low-pressure, plant-supplied air (3 to 6 pounds per square inch/psi). Self-cleaning pneumatic edge detectors are highly effective with both opaque and transparent webs.
