Five VentPerf-Hot needle systems are available for the on-line or off-line micro-perforation of film and other specialty materials. With varying perforation densities and operating speeds, the new systems are designed to accommodate a variety of applications and budgets. Options include the Microtex, which allows for a perforation density of up to 160 holes per square inch at an operating speed of up to 320 feet per minute; the Thermoperf, which allows for 600 holes per square inch at a speed of 450 feet per minute; and the larger Termica Star 1 and Star 2 systems, which allow for 600 holes per square inch at 650 feet per minute. All five systems have digital temperature displays, PID temperature controls and are available as standalone or can be integrated into a production line.
