The
e-Knifeholder was the industry’s first all-electronic knifeholder, designed to
reduce set-up times and improve safety. The newest version, the Class III,
provides the same consistency as its predecessors but with a faster maximum
speed (10,000 feet per minute), larger blade diameter (7.87 inches), and larger
minimum slit width (3 inches). It also features a dust-tight, water-resistant
enclosure and automatic calibration of side-force and overlap. Once the
settings are configured, changeover can occur without operator intervention.
