The entries of the Flexible Packaging Association’s 57th annual Flexible Packaging Achievement Awards feature innovative enhancements focusing on consumer-convenience, design and graphics, barrier performance and structure, and sustainability. The FPA is pleased to present the 2013 FPA Flexible Packaging Achievement Awards Innovation Showcase. Following are photos of all the 2013 competition entries, which are presented in alphabetical order by package name. The names of the packages’ manufacturers are also provided.
In all, 78 flexible packages were submitted into the 2013 competition, which can be found in the Submitted Entries section below. Of those, 25 packages (9 Gold, 16 Silver) were honored with FPA Flexible Packaging Achievement Awards within one or more categories, including Packaging Excellence, Printing Achievement, Technical Innovation, and Environmental & Sustainability Achievement.
The winning entries were announced on Tuesday, February 26, 2013 during the 2013 FPA Welcome Dinner & Flexible Packaging Achievement Awards Ceremony. The event was held in conjunction with the 2013 FPA Annual Meeting (February 26-28, 2013) at The Ritz Carlton Golf Resort in Naples, Florida.
