With the Fresh-Lock Zipper Spool Reuse Program, converters
can reduce landfill waste, do what is right for the environment and save money.
Unlike conventional recycling approaches that create a cost burden for the
converter, the Zipper Spool Reuse Program actually reduces the cost of the
spools through a simple reimbursement system. The program starts with modular
spools, which are broken down when empty to reduce their footprint. Converters
pack them in the same box they arrived in for shipment (at no cost to the
converter) to a designated washing facility. Converters then receive an invoice
credit for each spool that is returned.
