The CI (Central Impression) Drum Cleaner automatic wiping system operates while the press is printing, keeping dust and ink build-up from reducing print quality and stopping a press for costly operator wipe down. A soft, clean spool of cloth collects contaminants and automatically advances itself, meaning only clean material contacts the drum, removing ink without scratching or damaging the drum surface. The compact design features PLC controls and can easily be retrofitted to existing CI presses.
