New turn bays allow converters to change web paths 90 degrees, reverse web direction, and even flip webs over. The unit works with a variety of webs and line speeds and can be sized to suit almost any application. These turn bays utilize air turn bars that redirect webs via a cushion of air rather than through direct contact. The air turn bars, available in horizontal and vertical configurations, are made for any web width and are available with custom drilled surfaces.
