The patented Auto Indexing Knife maintains the highest cut quality throughout all cuts, extending the life of the core cutter knife, and reducing the amount of operator interaction with the blade. Whether used as a retro-fit or an upgrade, the unit is easy-to-install and extends the life of the blade by providing more usable cutting surface per knife. By automatically indexing the knife to a new cutting edge and setting the number of cuts between blade indexes, the product limits the operator’s handling time of the blade to replacements only, which minimizes change-over downtime, as well as operator interaction with the knife.
