Although most thermal transfer ribbons that are used on flexible packaging films are wax-resin, the HT13 differentiates itself as a near-edge resin ribbon. Since it is made of resin, the ribbon provides high durability and can print to speeds of 300mm/second. It is also scratch-resistance, provides excellent smear and can be used on OPP, ONY and PET films.
