Ideal for narrow web applications, such as removing web wrinkles or controlling separation of slit webs, Perma-Bow bowed rolls from NimCor are as small as 1.5 inches in diameter. Perma-Bow rolls can operate at full line speed while the roll apex is rotated to aid in separating slit webs or eliminating soft spots and wrinkles. Precision-engineered bearing housings with pedestal or flange mounts simplify installation and servicing. Larger Perma-Bow bowed rolls are available in 3.5- to 7.5-inch diameters with fixed or adjustable bows and optional drive pulley.
