Coaters, control systems on display at Davis-Standard booth

Davis-Standard will promote its new extrusion coating product line at Booth #5748 during CPP Expo. Introduced in early 2008, this versatile line supports converters with basic applications, all the way up to those with high-speed, complex requirements. The coating line comprises three models-300, 450 and 750-each reflecting the approximate line speed capabilities expressed in meters per minute.

The company will also have information available on its latest control systems for its converting equipment, including the DS5, Integrator C and Integrator Pro. The DS5 (Davis-Standard Secure Service Support System) enables service personnel to respond to customer needs, diagnose, and fix problems via an Internet connection. The Integrator C is a new single-point system to replace obsolete CMR systems while retaining the functionality of previous systems. Additional features include recipe management, historical data trending, alarms and enhanced gauge control.
