Officials at global anilox supplier Harper Corporation of America have announced the promotion of Plant Manager Ronald “Lee” Harper Kluttz to vice president of manufacturing operations, and will serve on the board of directors.

Kluttz, grandson of company founders Ron and Katherine Harper and son of current Harper president Margie Kluttz, has worked at Harper for 20 of the company’s 40 years of existence.

In his new position, Kluttz will oversee the manufacturing and production of all Harper anilox rolls at the company’s domestic facilities in Charlotte and Green Bay, Wisc. Kluttz also audits the firm’s licensed affiliates – located in Thailand and Germany – to ensure global product consistency.

Kluttz joined Harper in 1991, helping in Katherine Harper’s Cleaner Hands division. He has served in various manufacturing departments: as a blast operator, on the Harper GraphicsSolutions team, as plant supervisor, manager of customer service and plant manager.
