Chemsultants International is pleased to announce two new additions to the company; Mike Hilston as research chemist and Jack Yeary as quality specialist.
In his position, Hilston will be responsible for contributing to new product development projects. He will report directly to Dr. Berry Decker, technical project manager. Hilston brings over 30 years of materials and product R&D experience to the company. He has held numerous technical development positions in the pressure sensitive tape, energy and polymer industries.
Hilston brings with him a very strong background in new materials/process development, research and new product development – he holds 16 U.S Patents covering PSA tape products, extensible films, silicone release compositions, multi-layer composites and hydrophilic copolymers. He has worked for technically based companies including: Avery Dennison, Gould Incorporated and Diamond Shamrock. Hilston is a graduate of Cleveland State University and holds a B.S. in Chemistry (Cum Laude).
In his position, Yeary will be responsible for testing within the Chemsultants Laboratory. He will also be involved with processes and quality assurance testing in the Product and Process Development operation. Yeary will report to Cheryl Saqqa, testing project leader.
Yeary brings over 35 years of pressure sensitive adhesive operations and testing experience to the company. He has held numerous positions in the pressure sensitive tape division of Avery Dennison. His experience includes responsibilities in the areas of materials, coating and finishing, and quality assurance testing.
