Prairie State Group debuts new, award-winning logo to accompany their new in-house graphic design services.

Prairie State Group (PSG) announces the addition of in-house graphic design services. This is a result of PSG’s continued efforts to make internal improvements to meet growing customer needs. PSG is often asked to take work from outside vendors/designers and get those on press and out into the market. Unfortunately, a large number of these projects are designed without a flexo press in mind, let alone the presses at PSG. This continually creates the prepress issues of too many colors, trapping problems, lo-res images and so on. These issues cause problems for customers because of scheduling, product release and paying for both design work and again for prepress work. These issues kept coming up and required a more efficient solution.

The in-house graphic design services will cut down the customers cost, while making internal processes run smoother. This new offering provides a special niche service that other printers don't currently offer.
However, PSG didn't feel comfortable offering design services to customers without updating their own look. They spent 18 months working on a everything from corporate identity, website and print collateral to internal office design and aesthetics. PSG pleased to announce the transition is nearly complete. The logo design, website redesign, printed materials, new signage outside and a three-dimensional wall logo inside have improved company morale and internal office feel.

Proud of their new look, PSG recently entered the new logo design into Graphic Design USA Magazine’s 2012 American Graphic Design Awards. Competing against over 8,000 entries, PSG’s new logo design won. PSG is excited by the possibilities their new service offers and looks forward to a fruitful 2013.
