During drupa (Monday May 7th through Friday, May 11th), W&H will host an in-house EXPO at its Lengerich headquarters, located just 1 ½ hrs north of Düsseldorf. At the EXPO, an extensive range of machinery and new developments will be presented.
Since the last drupa, W&H has extended their very successful MIRAFLEX, NOVOFLEX and VISTAFLEX press ranges with new models and features and now offers the most versatile range of central impression flexographic presses in the world. The widths and repeat ranges available with the MIRAFLEX and NOVOFLEX cover 90 percent of flexible packaging products on the market. Detail enhancements along with even greater machine performance allow for a real improvement in productivity. The VISTAFLEX portfolio also grew with the introduction of the VISTAFLEX CL8 and the VISTAFLEX CX, which accommodates widths of up to 2,200 mm. The VISTAFLEX, with its “smart” VISTA-PORT robot system is today's most advanced solution for high-output, wide flexographic presses with maximum performance and the quickest possible job changeovers.
The HELIOSTAR gravure press range also plays an important role at W&H and for that reason, many new developments to it will be shown both at drupa and at the EXPO in Lengerich. Front and center are effective ink- and wash up systems as well as the dynamic W&H register system HELIOCONTROL with its automatic pre-register system EASY-SYNC. These innovations help meet the increased demand for costs savings in ink and waste reduction, following the company's GREENOVATION philosophy. GREENOVATION (green innovation) represents a clear commitment to the environmentally-friendly and sustainable use of resources for all W&H machinery.
