The Dow Corning Corporation Pressure Sensitive Industry team will exhibit at the Pressure Sensitive Tape Council’s
(PSTC)
Summit 2012, from April 30 to May 4, 2012, at the Seaport Hotel and World Trade Center in Boston.
The PSTC Tape Summit 2012 brings together the
entire pressure sensitive adhesive (PSA) tape industry channel – adhesive
manufacturers, suppliers, tape manufacturers, tape converters, associations and
industry experts, and offers a variety of learning experiences for the
attendees.
Dow Corning will exhibit its lineup of low
adhesion pressure sensitive adhesives (PSAs) and new
hard coating materials for protective film applications.
Silicone-based technology offers stable adhesion over time and superior wet
ability and transparency as well as better mar resistance and anti-scratch than
current organic PSAs on PET technology.
“We are excited to illustrate our proven and innovative silicones for the
pressure sensitive adhesives market,” says Christian Velasquez, Dow Corning’s
global market director for the Pressure Sensitive Industry. “The development of
these new surface protective low adhesion pressure sensitive adhesives broadens
the solution set that Dow Corning can offer customers seeking to protect
electronic displays and touch screen enabled devices.”
