The scheduled expansion, to be completed in Q1 2013, increases the size of the Plant 2 site to approximately 3,450 sq.m. (37,500 sq. ft.). When complete, the expansion will accommodate several new machine tools including a new 10-meter multi-axis CNC mill, slated for commissioning March 2013.
“While business remains fickle, overall business recovery continues on a gradual upward trend,” says Peter Cloeren, “and this expansion positions us to take advantage of developing business opportunities. While the industry trend may be to offshore, we believe we can compete efficiently and effectively by keep our manufacturing consolidated at our home base in the U.S.A. We are in a custom business, and keeping our skilled manufacturing and design teams close together affords greater attention to detail and quality to ensure delivery of ‘as designed’ products.”
