
The Flexible Packaging Association recently published its 2011 Report to FPA Members. This publication provides an overview of the many initiatives and activities FPA conducts on behalf of its members. As the voice of the flexible packaging industry for 60 years, FPA provides a wealth of significant benefits that support the success of FPA members and the advancement of the flexible packaging industry.
The Report highlights current and ongoing FPA programs that are protecting the flexible packaging industry from adverse regulation and legislation; providing reliable industry data; promoting the advancement and accomplishments of the industry; communicating the sustainability benefits and value of flexible packaging; providing a forum for networking among industry leaders; and examining industry-specific opportunities and challenges. The Report also includes a listing of FPA members, the FPA Board of Directors, and the FPA mission statement and strategic goals.
The Report provides information on the FPA Flexible Packaging Sustainability Advantages Program and Education Campaign, the activities of the FPA Environmental, Health & Safety Committee and industry-specific regulatory and legislative issues that are on the committee’s radar, and the FPA Flexible Packaging Financial Benchmarking Program, which includes several surveys and reports that assist FPA members make informed business decisions.
Information on FPA events such as the FPA Annual Meeting, Fall Executive Conference and EHS Summit are detailed in the Report, in addition to the FPA Flexible Packaging Achievement Awards Program, the FPA Student Leadership Program, and FPA’s communication tools and publications. The Report also provides a look at upcoming FPA activities and events, and soon-to-be-released reports.
