Coveris welcomes customers, press representatives and interested visitors from all over the world during seven exciting and successful trade fair days at Interpack.
The Coveris stand E43 in hall 10 with open and modern architecture covered two floors, representing the size of the new combined company. The vast product portfolio of both flexible and rigid packaging was vividly presented in displays, which were divided into the different end-user and industrial markets Coveris is serving. Strong focus has been put on recently developed innovative packaging solutions in the Group.
Edwin Goffard, president of Coveris Business Unit Food & Consumer Europe, says: “The stand expressed beautifully our capabilities and our commitment to live up to our promise of being a leader in flexible and rigid packaging.”
Visitors of the Coveris stand had plenty of room to walk around, sit down and be inspired. They exchanged ideas with the experienced packaging experts from Coveris and showed big interest in the latest technology and product innovations, such as lightweighted, easy-to-use, sustainable and long shelf-life packaging solutions with sophisticated decoration options.
Breakthrough technologies like Injection Compression, TIML and NEOCELL or the successful DuoSmart concept are just a few examples of the recent rigid packaging innovations. There was also great demand for the various Food Service solutions Coveris is offering, such as catering trays, ready meals and fresh food containers, lids, drinking and vending cups.
Premade bags and pouches, linerless labels with the latest development Slidewrap labels and green polyethylene packaging were major fields of interest for visitors interested in flexible product applications.
Like other exhibitors Coveris is very satisfied with the quantity and quality of their international visitors during Interpack. Dieter Bergner, CEO of Coveris global rigid, adds: “It is fantastic to receive this great attention for the new brand with real interest in our combined offering from such an important international audience like at Interpack.”
Customer Saint Gobain expressed that Coveris strongly communicates on the new brand to clarify their worldwide position with the ability to offer customized packaging solutions for various product applications in different markets.
“You are now at a size that we have to consider you as a potential supplier for our packaging”, says David Revuelta, European purchasing manager of affinity petcare SA, a prospective customer for pet food packaging.
