Wildeck at Pack Expo 2014Wildeck Inc. is showcasing its full complement of storing, lifting and guarding products, including its new FlexLoader automated/integrated vertical reciprocating conveyor system, in Booth E-8630 at Pack Expo 2014, Nov. 2-5 at McCormick Place in Chicago.

Founded in 1976, Wildeck is the largest manufacturer of both industrial steel work platforms (mezzanines) and VRCs designed for numerous industrial and commercial industries and applications.

The new FlexLoader is a safer material lift for automation duty applications. The fully integrated VRC system incorporates automated flush-mounted conveyors, with either a straddle or 4-post (VRC), and Wildeck overhead safety gates at each level. This design turns a basic VRC into a safer, more efficient, and more automated material lifting system that seamlessly connects all levels of a work platform to make better use of the available space.

Unlike a standard VRC, Wildeck’s new FlexLoader material conveyor system incorporates the company’s full-featured AutoSenz D-Series overload detection system with automated horizontal loading and off-loading conveyors and Wildeck Safety Gates at each level. The system is therefore excluded from elevator department inspections and provides code compliance in all 50 States.

Pack Expo visitors can also see Wildeck’s capabilities to custom design and manufacture specialized machinery and equipment platforms for the converting, printing and packaging machine industries.

Wildeck steel equipment / machine platforms provide convenient and safe access for operators and service personnel on any piece of equipment that needs to be elevated above the floor. They are designed to meet customer requirements while complying with applicable codes and OSHA safety requirements. They can include safety railing for personnel and 4-inch high kick-plate all around to protect tools or materials from falling off the platform. Wildeck stairways or vertical ladders provide access and safety ladder access gates are also available to protect personnel at openings.

Additionally, Wildeck’s full line of storing, lifting and guard products will be on display, including steel work platforms. Wildeck steel work platforms are precision fabricated from structural steel components that are assembled using secure bolt-together connections. Wildeck’s family of mechanically and hydraulically operated VRCs provide cost effective, safe and efficient vertical movement of materials between levels, and Wilgard guard rail (tested to be the industry’s strongest protective rail system), protects work areas, facility equipment and walkways. Finally, show attendees can see mobile access and other safety products from Wildeck’s subsidiary, Ladder Industries.

Pack Expo attendees can also learn about the new FlexLoader automated/integrated VRC system by scanning the QR Code.
