For ETI Converting Equipment, the week of Labelexpo Americas began with the ILG annual meeting held the day before the opening of the exhibition.
Cohesio users, from different parts of the world, gathered to discuss and exchange on the technology and to meet with raw material suppliers invited to present their products at the tabletop. Various presentations also informed guests on ETI new technologies.
Then, during the three-day exhibition at Labelexpo Americas in Rosemont, Ill., ETI showcased its latest technology. The Mini-Cohesio, equipped with the Pellicut die-cutting unit, attracted many visitors curious to see a compact equipment capable to manufacture and die-cut PS labels on a .72 mil (18 micron) liner without any die marks, at a speed of 500 feet per minute. (150 m/min).
This technology offers the industry a real green solution by reducing landfill waste by almost half.
The Mini-Cohesio, installed on the booth, impressed by its compact size: 24 feet long , 13-inch web width. This machine can accommodate printers having space constraints, but convinced that making their own PS labels or material is the way to do.
