Atlas Converting Equipment Ltd. has appointed Philip Nichols as its new marketing and communications manager for both the Atlas and Titan brands of slitter/rewinders. Phil will replace Roger Astell, who is taking an early retirement at the end of the year following an 18-year run with the company.

With a background in electronic engineering and several years’ worth of experience marketing technology products within business-to-business markets, Nichols brings both traditional and digital marketing experience to the company. The company plans to focus on delivering targeted campaigns and content to drive engagement and clear communication of both brands and product value propositions to the global converting market moving forward.

“The Atlas and Titan brands are very well respected in their industry and I am looking forward to the challenge of further developing the awareness of the brands and demand for these great machines in an increasingly competitive and dynamic market place,” says Nichols.
