MacDermid Graphics Solutions will preview the latest additions to its LUX ITP Platform, which the company plans to commercialize by the end of the year, at the Flexographic Technical Association's InfoFlex 2016 in Fort Worth, Texas.

Achieving LUX-like performance and characteristics without adding steps to the workflow has been a reality since the introduction of LUX ITP 60 in the spring of 2014, company officials say. The latest additions to the platform for flat top-dot technology will be the LUX ITP 50 and LUX ITP C.

LUX ITP 50 is a 50 Shore A durometer plate that provides all of the benefits of LUX ITP 60, but in a lower durometer well-suited to paper substrates, or where solid coverage is the first priority. LUX ITP C is MacDermid’s capped ITP platemaking option, providing a balance of low print gain and smooth solid ink coverage.

To learn more about the LUX ITP platform of products, attendees can stop by MacDermid’s booth at the show (#501) and attend the InfoFlex Solution’s Theater on March 7 from 3:25 to 3:45 p.m.
