Toray Plastics (America) Inc. has promoted Christopher Roy to senior vice president and general manager of the Torayfan division. The company has also named John Eustis as vice president of engineering and procurement.
Roy most recently served the company as the Torayfan division’s vice president and general manager. He joined Toray in 1998 and has held several positions, including director of national sales, director of sales and marketing, senior director of sales and marketing, and general manager. Prior to joining Toray, Roy launched his career in the plastics industry working in the injection-molding segment for seven years as a vice president.
“Chris has been instrumental in driving important changes that have had a significant impact on the Torayfan division, and he has made many other valuable contributions to Toray’s success,” says Mike Brandmeier, president and CEO of Toray Plastics (America). “Chris has also been a leader in providing support to our sister company, Toray Films Europe. His promotion is well-deserved, and we look forward to continuing to benefit from his expertise.”
Eustis was appointed senior director of procurement and logistics in 2010. In 2014, he also assumed responsibility for leading the company’s engineering team. He joined Toray in 2008 after working at Pearson Composites, where he was a vice president.
“John’s leadership in procurement and engineering has helped guide Toray through some of its most ambitious capital expansions,” Brandmeier says. “His contributions to the company over the years have been integral to our success, and we applaud his achievements.”
