Flexographic Technical Association (FTA) has Ann Michaud of 3M Co. and Hank Welter of TC Transcontinental Packaging as the respective chair and co-chair for Forum 2019. Forum 2019 will take place at the Hilton New Orleans Riverside May 5-8.

Michaud co-chaired Forum 2018 in Indianapolis, where she helped bring in more than 1,700 attendees from around the world to hear about the latest innovations in the package printing and converting industry.

A distinguished member of FTA for more than 20 years, Welter has been active serving as a speaker at past events and as a Board member from 2011-2018. Coupling active membership with a lifelong passion for package printing, Welter is a strong addition to the 2019 event and looks forward to 2020, when he will be serving as Forum chair.

“The Forum 2019 leadership committee is already actively preparing for the event,” says Michaud. “We are excited about bringing together another talented group of industry experts to create what we hope to be a valuable agenda for all printers and industry members. Hank, our 2019 co-chair, brings a wealth of industry experience to the team. Forum 2019 will be another great opportunity to learn, share experiences and network with our industry colleagues. See you in New Orleans in May!”

As the two begin shaping the Forum 2019 agenda, the two bring more than 50 years’ combined experience to the planning table. As brainstorming ensues and abstracts are reviewed, attendees can expect to see some fresh faces speaking about in-depth technical topics.

Planning is also well underway for InfoFlex, which will be open from May 6-7 at the Ernest N. Morial Convention Center.
