Wikoff Color Corp. has agreed to purchase the assets of Braden Sutphin Ink Company (Cleveland, Ohio), a move that will increase its service capabilities and exposure in the North American market.

The acquisition of Braden Sutphin complements Wikoff’s business and approach to the market by incorporating a company that puts customers’ needs first.

“Much like the founding vision for Wikoff Color Corporation, Braden Sutphin has a primary focus on providing technical sales support and customer service to accompany their high quality products,” notes Geoff Peters, Wikoff Color president and CEO. “This alignment in values makes our two companies well-suited to join forces for the future.”

Adds Jim Leitch, CEO of Braden Sutphin: “Braden Sutphin is known for exceptional integrity and service. We have taken pride in having the scale to offer a full range of products, while not losing sight of our customer service and local support. Wikoff Color has a longstanding history of the same customer-focused approach and our team is excited to join forces with such a reputable company.”

Founded in 1913 by Jim Braden, Braden Sutphin is a privately owned full-service printing ink and supply company. The company’s first employee was Al Sutphin who later acquired a 100 percent ownership interest by the 1930’s. Today Braden Sutphin operates from 10 locations across the country, primarily in the East, Central, Midwest and Mid-Atlantic regions.
