Uflex’s Noida Plant Hosts Kentucky Governor
Kentucky governor Matt Bevin recently visited Uflex’s Noida Plant in India to learn more about the company and tour the facility. Uflex’s Flex Films USA film-making division operates in Elizabethtown, Kentucky.
“Uflex has a significant presence in Kentucky through its Flex Films USA facility,” Bevin said while on site. “Our visit to Uflex’s offices in India was beneficial at many levels. We were able to deepen our relationship with this prestigious company during our visit, and we look forward to helping Uflex expand its presence in Kentucky in the months and years ahead.”
Bevin is leading an economic development delegation to India to participate in recognized business and investment events.
“We’re honored that Governor Bevin chose to visit our India plant and gave us an opportunity to host him,” Ashok Chaturvedi, Uflex CMD said. “Flex Films has invested in its employees and Kentucky’s economy, and as we look at expanding our films’ product portfolio and scale of operations in the U.S., we will ensure that we continue to work with the government in the future as well.”
