You might find this a bit of a shock, but as a career writer and editor I’ve never actually designed my own package. However, we ran a news story about ProAmpac’s MAKR when it made its debut back in August.
MAKR allows users to remotely create custom 3D package designs in both film and paper formats, which can then be prototyped at company’s Design and Sample Lab.
Starting the packaging design process with an understanding of what available end uses exist for specific packaging materials leads to better informed design specifications.
