Sigma Plastics Group has ordered its 53rd Windmoeller & Hoelscher blown film machine. The VAREX II line will be installed in Sigma’s ISOFlex Indiana plant in Washington, Indiana – a plant that features all W&H lines and is dedicated to producing high-end film.
The Sigma Plastics Group has placed an order for W&H blown film lines for Republic Bags of Houston, Texas, and McNeeley Plastics of Clinton, Mississippi, and completed an installation at ISOFlex Packaging in Washington, Indiana.
Windmöller & Hölscher’s 5-layer VAREX II blown film line with the intelligent TURBOCLEAN autmoation module made its debut at K 2016 in October, marking the first and only blown film machine to demonstrate complete job changeovers – including changing seven components, film width, thickness and color – within 12 minutes.
